“NAVIGATE BETTER WITH MARCO NANNINI” DVD NUMBER 3
In this third DVD, Marco Nannini addresses three key topics for the cruising enthusiast who loves both long sailings and going below the coast: seasickness, how to call for sea rescue, and how to choose the right sails for your needs. Seasickness is a problem that, sooner or later, you will face. What steps to take to reduce the feeling of confusion and nausea on board? More importantly, reasoning as a skipper, what to do when one of the crew members is sick? In the event of a breakdown on board, one must be fully prepared so as to maximize the chances of being rescued. Marco explains how to take advantage of all the resources on board, from fires to cell phones, from the VHF to the EPIRB: each individual tool is dissected in great detail so that you understand how and especially when it is worth using it to avoid confusing rescuers. Finally, who else but Marco Nannini, who completed the GOR in second place with the mainsail that had also accompanied him to the Route du Rhum, can tell you all the secrets to choosing the right sail game to suit your needs? Thanks to the practical video course “Sailing Better with Marco Nannini,” you too can feel safe aboard your boat in any situation.
