We will have to wait until early next year to see the Slovenian shipyard’s new flagship live: an Elan E6 of which we managed to preview the only rendering currently available. A model that fully embodies the sporty spirit of Elan. Its predecessor, the Elan 450, had been the first model to take advantage of the double rudder blade, ideal for making the most of the hull inspired by that of ocean racing boats. In this new Elan E6, the big news is the presence of the torpedo bulb, thus uniting it with its smaller siblings.
There is great secrecy about the other new features of this model. Looking at the rendering, the particularly sporty design of the deckhouse, which remains low while protecting the cockpit, is evident. At the bow, the presence of a bowsprit will allow maximum use of the gennaker at carrying gaits. Now we just have to wait until early 2016 to see it live. Meanwhile, at the fall shows the Slovenian shipyard will be out in force with several models, including the Impression 45, which will make its official debut at the Genoa Boat Show. www.adriaship.it
