THE BOAT EXPLAINED BY COSSUTTIHere, in brief, is the boat as told by the designer:
“This boat comes after a long collaboration with the technical and marketing department of AD Boats; after setting the princiapeli parameters of the boat we took care of the style of the boat, naval architecture while the interior was done in-house by AD. As a firm, we have considerable experience in boats of this size, from the M37 to the NM38, which won six ORC World Championships from 2007 to 2014, from the Next 37 and From the 37-foot proto Katarina II. This last boat was very important because fluid dynamicjhe (CFD) analysis and speed prediction programs (VPP) were also used to define the hull and sail plan of the Salona 380.
But a cruiser racer means more than just performance: it must also be marine and comfortable, with a large cockpit, long benches, the position of the helmsman being close to the winches to encourage easy, small-crew sailing. These are all details that we took into account based also on the experience of the Salona 38.” www.salonayachts.com
