PHOTOSEQUENCE – Scuffling, righting and restarting a Free Class

7A beautiful 90-degree capsize was the one Raffica experienced during a regatta on Lake Balaton, Hungary. This old racer class free from lake (formerly called BTV) was born on Garda, and in the 2002-2003 season it was equipped with a 20.5-meter decomposable Pauger carbon mast. He also won two Centomiglias, in 2007 and 2011. Then purchased by an Austrian team that changed its name to BTV, now ended up in the hands of a Hungarian crew. Who, over the past few days, has been hard at work straightening out this fast as well as “berserk” racer equipped with a bulb and terraces, as shown in the sequence of photos taken from the team’s facebook page.
