Pizza-piThe drive-thru, an American classic, is the fast food restaurant that allows you to order food directly from your car. Now there is one for sailors, too: the “sail-thru” is called Pizza Pi and is nothing more than an old 11-meter aluminum boat that a couple of young sailing (and pizza) lovers salvaged (it had been abandoned for 10 years) and turned into a floating, traveling pizzeria. Sasha and Tara Bouis have opened their business in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Christmas Cove, and it’s going … swimmingly. There are many hungry boaters who come to them, as well as young optimists and those who crave a drifting snack. The interior of the boat has been adapted as a professional kitchen, and the results appear to be really tasty. In your opinion, could such an activity work in Italy?
