UNDER 16, RAIN OF MEDALS
Great Italians in the Under 16 classification (the largest with 80 boats at the start: first Federico Zampiccoli (CV Arco), second Filippo Vincis (LNI Sulcis) and third Leonardo Chisté (Cv Arco). Adding to the “trifecta” was fourth place for Ludovico Journo of Tognazzi Marine Village, confirming total blue dominance.
UNDER 19, THE CZECH “ITALIAN”
In the Under 19, Veronika Živná, a Czech by birth but based at CV Arco, won no less than eight of the nine races held (and in the last one she had to settle for a second!), finishing ahead of Portugal’s Mafalda Pires de Lima and Australia’s Kaiella Taylor.
UNDER 13, GERMAN AND INBRED DOMINATION
In the Under 13 (40 boats at the start) the two German brothers Magnus and Lennart Frohmann monopolize the top spot, first and second respectively ahead of Frenchman Julien Bunel. First of the Italians Gregori Cordero di Montezemolo of Tognazzi Marine Village.
