OneSails, founded in 2007 and now present worldwide with a network of 30 sailmakers in 23 countries and 3 continents, announces its new set-up in the Italian market. The historic lofts in Verona and La Spezia are joined by the lofts in Lecce by the Montefusco brothers, Olbia by Mauro Albonico, and Ragusa. Five lofts to ensure complete coverage of the entire country by guaranteeing professionalism, exclusive technologies, and widespread service with an eye on environmental sustainability as well.
The latest innovation presented by One Sails is the 4T FORTE composite structure , the revolutionary flexible composite (produced by Flexon Composites Ltd. a world leader in flexible composites production) that has quickly become the product of choice for high-performance sails. This structure includes high-modulus fibers embedded within a low-strain composite structure produced without the use of glue and mylar films, which have always been the weakness of laminated sails. Due to the absence of glue and mylar film, these sails, are significantly lighter than those produced by traditional lamination technologies. The weight saving becomes even more pronounced as it does not need the surface protection.
