Rome for Two and Rome for All, established in 1994, has seen its popularity grow year after year. Since last year she has been joined by Rome for One, the only true “long” lonely person’s “long” in Italy. Yesterday the 55 crews at the start set off from Riva di Traiano to head for Lipari, with mandatory passage between Ventotene and Santo Stefano, for a total of 535 miles. The secret of this “long” Tyrrhenian is that the result (at least in compensated time) is within everyone’s reach.
GAETANO MURA LEADS AMONG LONERS
Yesterday, the soloists started first then, after 15 minutes, the rest of the fleet. For now among the loners, it’s a two-man challenge, with Gaetano Mura’s Bet1128 in the lead off Capri tailed by Mario Girelli on Patricia II. In third place was Hugues Le Cardinal‘s E Così. Neo-Scheggia with Andrea Caracci and Nino Merola immediately jumped into the lead in the per 2, Giancarlo Gianni ‘s Durlindana 3 by a hair ahead of Michele Galli ‘s B2 in the per Tutti: it is already clear that the fight will be close.

New data on the virality of the regatta on social media and the fans and followers reached, which had already reached 2.8 million by Saturday, will also be released by Data Stampa’s Pico Web tracking system in the coming hours.
