3336680_5A few days ago we told you about the drift boat aboard which the two Kennedy Jr. (John and Caroline), children of U.S. President JFK and Jacqueline Onassis, had learned to sail.

3336680_3THE BOAT IS WORTH AS MUCH AS A PAIR OF SHOES FROM “JACKIE O”
The small boat, “Scallop,” (12 feet long and 6 feet wide, made in the winter of 1969/70) was restored to its original splendor and auctioned in Boston by RR Auction house: guess, after 9 raises, how much it was sold for? Certainly to less than you expect: $13,750, about 12,000 euros. The same amount at which, in the same auction, a pair of Jacqueline’s shoes was sold. Two wax candles also belonging to the legendary “Jackie O” on the other hand were batted for $10,000.
