The route of more than 39 thousand total miles will depart from Alicante, Spain, on Oct. 4, followed by an eastward route with stops in Cape Town, Abu Dhabi, Sanya, Auckland, Itajai, Newport before returning to European waters-Lisbon, Lorient, and Gothenburg in tribute to the Swedish automotive giant that sponsors the event.
