Last year was a fantastic first time. We are talking about the Instagram contest, which led you to participate with more than 2200 imams on the most beloved photographic social network, Instagram, precisely. What better time than now, in which we have just surpassed 2,000 followers on our profile, to present the second edition? A special edition, full of new features aimed at making the “big challenge of summer” even more social and fun!

This is the basis for the “TAG Heuer Cruise GDV 2014, capture the passion of life on board,” which will therefore feature you on Instagram. How does it work? Very simple. The contest is open to everyone (all you need is a free Instagram account) and runs from August 1-31, 2014. To participate, all you need to do is upload photos (yes, you can participate with as many images as you want) to Instagram using the hashtag #crocieragdv2014 and tagging @giornaledellavela in your photographs. We repeat, there is no limit to the number of images each participant can post on Instagram to participate. We also give you a tip: in addition to the hashtag #crocieragdv2014 add as many hashtags as possible. This will give maximum visibility to your photos and a chance for other users to click the mythical “Like” button. Why is it important? Because in choosing the winners we will also take into account the number of “Likes” the photo has received.
WHAT, HOW AND WHEN TO PHOTOGRAPH
The only limit is your imagination. Under sail, in the roadstead, in port, while preparing dinner or in the middle of a dive, just to name a few examples, what embodies your passion for cruising, the sea and sailing can be the subject of images. For inspiration, then, why don’t you go look back at the photos that participated last summer? Simply type, in the search section of Instagram, the hashtag #crocieragdv2013 and over 2200 sources of inspiration will appear, or click here!
We told you that the “TAG Heuer Cruise GDV 2014” contest runs from August 1 to 31, but if you are among the lucky ones who roamed the seaside in June or July, don’t tear your hair out! To be among the challengers, simply post your photo (following the rules we have described) in the month of August.

The best photos will be chosen by the editorial staff, taking into consideration quality, originality and the number of “likes” the image has received. Thanks to our partner TAG Heuer, the winner will receive an Aquaracer 500M Calibre 5 Automatic.
This model, inspired specifically by the world of sailing, is water-resistant to 500 meters and features a helium decompression valve at 10 o’clock and a unidirectional rotating bezel made of scratch-resistant black ceramic.
