Bringing the spirit of the Barcolana to the Gulf of Cagliari. This is the target of Circolo Velico Canottier Ichnusa, organizer together with ASD JanasEnjoy of the first Ichnusa Sailing Kermesse. A series of events at sea concentrated over a little more than a week, to which are added many side events on land.
It will start on the weekend of May 16-17 with Sailing Week reserved for cabin cruisers and the Latin sails regatta (actually, as early as day 10, approach races are scheduled from Naples, Olbia, Palermo, Alghero and Carloforte to the ports of Teulada and Villasimius).
Midweek days will be punctuated by school-oriented initiatives and match-race sessions until the final weekend of 24-25: Saturday will stage the Sail Pride, a masquerade sail open to all, and Sunday will be the turn of the open regatta Spirit of Barcolana and dinghy competition by the Windsurfing Club of Cagliari. www.ichnusasailingkermesse.it
