As then, departure from Falmouth (UK) on June 14, 2018, and around the world via the Cape of Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn.
DO YOU WANT TO REALIZE YOUR DREAM?
We are reaching out to you, Italian sailors of all ages: this could be your chance to make your dream come true! You can participate by invitation only, but you can apply by contacting the organization HERE. You must be over the age of majority and have at least 8,000 miles of sailing behind you in addition to 2,000 solo sailing. And lots and lots of time.
WHY YOU SHOULD PARTICIPATE
The first boat to finish wins 75,000 pounds: the regatta is reserved for 32- to 36-foot boats built before 1988 with a minimum displacement of 6,200 kg and a long keel, so far removed from the ocean-going behemoths we are used to seeing plying the oceans. http://mcintyreadventure.com/
