If someone like Jimmy Cornell, who invented the ARC, the now legendary Atlantic rally, and has sailed all the world’s oceans, collaborates on a new boat, it must be carefully studied. This is the case with the Garcia Exploration 45, and the name already gives a clear idea of the concept behind this project, which is now almost ready to launch: a boat designed to sail to every corner of the globe, from the polar regions to the tropics, designed by the Berret Racoupeau studio.

ALUMINIUMAND FOAM
Aluminum takes center stage in the construction of the Exploration 45, but what is most striking is the presence of polyethylene foam, which provides considerable thermal insulation. Approximately fourteen meters long and 4.43 meters wide, this hull can then rely on a series of bulkheads and watertight hatches, to increase safety in case of collisions or water ingress. The helmsman, then, has the ability to steer the boat from the inside, while still having an optimal view thanks to the presence of a 270-degree window in the deckhouse. Garcia Yachting is exclusively distributed in Italy by Sail Away – Garcia Italia.
