Fender 2 Step, the fender for…taking two steps

fender-2-stepThe idea is as simple as it is brilliant. Why not take advantage of the fenders as an aid to getting into the boat? This is the concept behind the Fender 2 Step, manufactured by Dan-Fender of Denmark: it is. a PVC fender with a central hole and two side attachments for added stability.

fender-2-step-blue-navyTHE UTILITY OF FENDER 2 STEP
If your boat has high bulwarks, or if you need to get children and people of short stature on board, this type of fender is a simple and effective solution, as it provides as many as two support points that act as “steps.” It also allows crew members to reach the dock more easily before mooring, without having to resort to the classic jump. The fenders are available in white, dark blue and black.

THE LATEST IN A SUCCESSFUL SERIES
Fender 2 Step is just the latest model in a successful series: the Fender Step, for example, is not pierced in the center but its conformation (again characterized by two attachment points for the lines) allows it to be exploited as a grapnel and can be attached with a double line to the forward dolphin deck making it easier to get on and off should you decide to moor in the bow. www.fenderstep.com
