ADRIAN’S STORY
“We were in front of Capraia when the first waterspout formed out of nowhere; the water was boiling, it was the first time I had seen one (at the lake, this never happens) and when, after I had closed everything down, I started motoring toward the coast, another one formed and was running toward Bravo Papa 3. Everywhere I moved they seemed to chase me, so much so that, in my ignorance, I even thought that the engine or some part of the boat(mast, antennas etc,) might attract them. Fortunately, after about 15 minutes (of fear!!!!), in a very few moments they dissolved almost simultaneously“.
