Euphoria, the new luxury range from Turkish shipyard Sirena Marine born from the pencil of German Frérs, does not stop for a moment. Following the debut of the 54-footer at the 2014 Eurasia Boat Show in Istanbul, renderings of the new 68-footer (scheduled to be launched in 2015) are ready, and we remain eagerly awaiting those of the largest in the range: the 84-footer. But let’s take one step at a time. As already mentioned, the hull lines come out of German Frérs‘ studio, while the interior was entrusted to Design Unlimited.
A COCKPIT READY TO TACKLE THE OCEANO WITHOUT SACRIFICING RELAXATION
The concept that guided the creation of this new 68-footer was to offer a boat suitable for those owners who sail in the Mediterranean but dream of tackling the Ocean. A hull, therefore, that does not give up the comfortable spaces necessary for long cruising, but at the same time features a powerful hull capable of tackling all kinds of seas. From the first renderings, we can see, compared to the 54, a different design of the cockpit (high wave guards and closed stern) that is advanced and better protected, in view of possible exits from the Mediterranean to the Ocean. There remains, of course, the double wheelhouse alongside which there is room for four winches to carry the rigging close to the helmsman, who can thus make himself as autonomous as possible from the rest of the crew. The deckhouse is streamlined and the deck flush (it houses nine flush-mounted hatches to which are added the ten portholes on the bulwarks that provide light and ventilation to the interior), and there is no shortage, even in the bow, of spaces to comfortably sunbathe.
INTERIORS CUSTOMIZED BY THE NEW OWNER
From the renderings one can appreciate the interior plan with the a solution chosen by the owner of the first Euphoria 68: a layout that favors privacy with the master cabin aft separated from the galley and crew area that find space in the bow. Other interior solutions are possible, with forward owner or other arrangements already provided as options by the shipyard.
