The new SL 33, the first production cat equipped with foils of this size, has been launched. The boat is proposed as the fastest production hull ever made under 40 feet, capable of triumphing at open regattas around the world.
CARBON, ONLY WAY
The cat, equipped with a 16-meter mast that can be dismantled into two pieces, has a sail area of 86 square meters (61 mainsail and 25 jib, with the option of a 75-square-meter Code Zero). The mast, boom, structural tubulars, rudders and foils are made of Epoxy prepreg carbon fiber, while the hulls also feature a Nomex core. www.slperformanceraceboats.eu
