D&D 43, remake or modern boat with vintage flavor?

kisSailing aboard the D&D 43 “Kis,” time stands still. Is this a reinterpretation of a classic hull, or a modern boat with classic lines? If the deck winks at the designs of William Fife and Nathaniel G. Herreshoff, there are details that harken back to the latest trends in nautical design, such as the inverted foredeck, the extensive sail area, and the long bowsprit upwind. The design of this unique vessel is by Dutchman Theo Danel. What do you think?
