#crocieragdv2015 The big Instagram contest is back. Are you ready?

The most beloved photo contest among sailors is back: it’s the “TAG Heuer GDV Cruise 2015. Don’t Crack Under Pressure” that will feature you on Instagram. How does it work? Very simple, read below!

The contest is open to everyone (all you need is a free Instagram account) and runs from August 1-31, 2015. To participate, all you need to do is upload photos (yes, you can participate with as many images as you want) to Instagram using the hashtags #crocieragdv2015 and #dontcrackunderpressure by tagging @giornaledellavela in your photographs.

We repeat, there is no limit to the number of images each participant can post on Instagram to participate.

We also give you a tip: in addition to the hashtags #crocieragdv2015 and #dontcrackunderpressure add as many hashtags as possible. This will give maximum visibility to your photos and a chance for other users to click the mythical “Like” button. Why is it important? Because in choosing the winners we will also take into account the number of Likes the photo has received.

WHAT, HOW AND WHEN TO PHOTOGRAPH
The only limit is your imagination. On a boat, even on the most beautiful vacation, there are times when you may find yourself under pressure: perhaps because of an unforeseen flailing, but also because of the opposite (the tremendous becalming!). Being under pressure, however, can also have a positive value and push us to give our best, never give up and push our limits. Or, will you be able to finish that gargantuan appetizer in the cockpit or bring the entire galley on board?

For inspiration, why don’t you go and review the photos that participated in past editions? Simply type, in the search section of Instagram, the hashtag #crocieragdv2013 and #crocieragdv2014 and over 3500 sources of inspiration will appear! Or you can review the great gallery that we published last year right here! We told you that the “TAG Heuer Cruise GDV 2015” contest runs from August 1 to 31, 2015, but if you are among the lucky ones who roamed the seaside in June or July, don’t tear your hair out! All you need to do to be among the challengers is to post the photo in the month of August.

The best photos will be chosen by the editorial staff, taking into consideration the quality, originality and the number of likes the image has received. Thanks to our partner TAG Heuer, the winner will receive an Aquaracer 300M Calibre 5.

Once again this year, photographs will have a prominent place on your computers thanks to the GdV Facebook page, where you will find a specially dedicated section with real-time updates. Here on our site we will give great space to your images for the duration of the contest, with more weekly updates where we will post the most curious photos you have posted, also relaunching everything on our Twitter profile. Each day we will also choose one of your photos that we will relaunch via our Instagram profile!
