To make his workhorses even meaner and faster. French shipyard Beneteau has decided to get its hands on three models in the First range, the 30, 35 and 40. The star of the renovation is carbon, which is used in this Carbon Edition to further lighten the overall weight of the boats. Here are the new features of the three “new” models:
- black carbon shaft with three orders god spreaders
- black aluminum boom
- PBO backstay (armed only on the 35 and 40)
- Retractable carbon bowsprit (armed only on the 35 and 40)
- Gennaker
- Rigid vang
- Tilting rudder wheel (armed only on the 35 and 40)
- GTE ultra performance keel
In addition to these new features that characterize the aggressive racing-oriented deck, the hull has been redesigned, and to some extent the interior.
