Founded in 1989 from a start-up project by Thomas Stamann, SVB is now a company specializing in the marine industry and still growing steadily. Its strength is its telesales, which offers the possibility of purchasing a wide range of products at competitive prices, with fast and secure delivery times. The single headquarters is located in Bremen, Germany, as is the showroom where you can see for yourself the quality of the products and purchase them. SVB has grown a lot over its 26 years by focusing on selecting the best brands, training and expertise of the staff, and above all by paying attention to customer satisfaction. Today it has more than 60 employees, 16,900 m² of office and warehouse space, and sends more than 1,000 parcels a day worldwide.
THE RELIABILITY OF THE COMPANY
The company’s reliability is based on a staff knowledgeable in every area, able to advise and offer technical support-from electronics, mechanics, and maintenance to customized services. It brings together personnel with years of experience in the nautical field and young people who are taking their first steps in the world of work; through the opportunity to serve apprenticeships they not only specialize in a particular field but can at the same time contribute significantly by contributing innovative ideas. SVB’s international staff not only provides the basis for successful multilingual e-commerce, but also acts as a bridge between SVB and its clients, with the goal of being able to meet the needs emerging from different national realities in a comprehensive and professional manner.
Thecornerstone of the company is the management of every single aspect of its activities-from catalog creation to shipping, to the creation of its own SEATEC brand in 1998 with which it is able to offer quality at lower prices. For these reasons, SVB succeeds in providing a service that earns the approval and esteem of more and more customers day by day. One of the elements that reflects the international mood of the company is the online platform “PortMaps” that can connect boaters from all over the world, allowing the “community” to exchange information and improve navigation through the possibility of making contacts, buying and selling, entering information and making the most of modern technology. Since January 2014, for the “first 25 years” of business and success, SVB wanted to celebrate by taking inspiration from beautiful, spicy red chilies and started offering its customers a series of items at unmissable prices: SVB’s chilies!
SUSTAINABILITY: HAPPY OCEAN BAG
SVB considers water sports synonymous with nature, which is why it is committed to environmental sustainability by helping to protect the environment, either through the use of clean energy through, for example, the installation of photovoltaic systems on the company’s roofs, or by contributing to Boyan Slat’s “Ocean Clean-up” project, to which it donates all proceeds from the sale of the “Happy Ocean Bag.” SVB is a well-rounded company and is involved in all aspects of its business. This is a company that in a quarter of a century has been able to earn the trust of customers from all over the world and intends to move forward with the same enthusiasm and creativity employed to date … what can we expect for the future? www.svb-marine.it

VIDEO New Generation Parasailor. We tried the supersail
The cruising world is increasingly witnessing the demise of spinnakers. There is little that can be done, no one uses them (almost) anymore. And perhaps rightly so, because, outside the regatta, it is an “uncomfortable” sail. The solution is often
