The TAG Heuer Vela Cup in La Spezia/Golfo dei Poeti takes place Sept. 17 and is open to all types of racing and cruising boats, small cabin cruisers and vintage boats. There will be no need for a tonnage certificate to participate because the Gulf of La Spezia Sailing Clubs Committee will provide all boats with a fee system. Mainsail and jib are enough to register in the “Cruising” category, while those with competitive aims instead can register in the “Regatta” category.

02 An event within an event

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE – Any type of boat with no age limit, in the “Cruise” (white sails) and “Regatta” (with gennaker/spi, etc.) categories.

MOORINGS – Main marinas where you can moor: Porto Mirabello, Porto Lotti, Marina di Fezzano, Marina di Portovenere and piers of the main clubs in the Gulf.

DURATION AND ROUTE – Each of the “Regattas” lasts no more than 3-4 hours. The route
