Why turn to Captains and Crew
Captains and Crew is’ a highly professionalizing school for skipper/hostesses coordinated by Com.te Ugo Carsana and Sabina Pagliei.
It proposes a craft approach, based on a very articulate and rigorous teaching plan, which succeeds in transfusing into practical fundamentals what theory, the notions studied in various professional courses alone cannot give.
It is a school that is aimed primarily at those who are already working in the nautical charter business or at least have already obtained the titles and qualifications to do so, but wish to deepen their skills and abilities in order to establish themselves in the job market, which, in Italy, is strongly affected by foreign competition.
A team of experienced skippers, skippers, and skippers will be in charge of organizing the various activities carried out on a daily basis during the two-week training course, drawing on the cooperation of professionals in each field.
From CPR training course director for “first aid,” to Counselor for “Onboard Relationship and Conflict Management” course and business manager for major charter companies. Not to mention all aspects of solving minor problems that may occur on a cruise with guests.
The ultimate goal? The training and selection of qualified and professional Skippers and Hostesses who will be able to join the Captains and Crew team and with the possibility, through the synergy of Captains and Crew with Charter Companies in Italy and abroad, to be able to facilitate the insertion into the nautical yachting job market.
How to join Captains and Crew
The best skipper course students also will have the opportunity for an additional free boarding experience: a 25-day ocean sailing flotilla between La Rochelle and Italy. A unique educational pathway that last year’s students, some of whom worked during the last summer season, are familiar with
