Boero Group, with its Boero YachtCoatings and Veneziani Yachting brands, confirms its presence once again this year at the Genoa Boat Show, the most representative appointment of Made in Italy excellence in the nautical sphere, which will welcome insiders and lovers of the sea from September 22 to 27.
What’s new from the Boero Group at the Genoa Boat Show
A year later, Gruppo Boero will still be a protagonist at the event, offering a new range of products and a vision strongly oriented toward innovation and sustainability: the same vision that in two centuries of history a has led the company to establish itself today as a leader in the paint products sector.
Among the news that will be announced will be of great importance the presentation of the partnership between Boero Group and Water Revolution Foundation: the Public Benefit Organization started in the Netherlands by a small group of superyacht industry leaders who shared the need to drive the nautical ecosystem toward sustainable change, proposing a constructive and collaborative approach, strongly aligned with the international scientific agenda.
The first objective will be to assess the life cycle and measure the impact of a selection of antifouling products-of which the Boero Group is a world leader-through LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT (LCA) analysis, an in-depth study that considers ten specific environmental indicators.
The partnership is intended to represent a further step forward in the sustainability journey initiated by the Group and reaffirms both the desire to limit direct effects on the planet and the need to access a rating system that can certify progress in a transparent and accessible way, following a strategic approach established by high-level international bodies such as the UN and UNESCO. With this in mind, the Group also produced the Smart Evolution Report 2021, an initial reporting exercise that contains highlights of the actions already taken to date for the various impact areas and the goals set by the group in the short, medium and long term. The document will be available by scanning the QR code at the Boat Show booth or in the dedicated section of the Group’s website.
In addition to the projects and initiatives promoted by Boer Group, there will be no shortage of expected new products from the individual brands in attendance.
The yachting division of the Boero Group, with its brands Boero YachtCoatings and Veneziani Yachting, international benchmarks in the production of paint solutions for the pleasure boating and superyacht markets, following the strategic evolution undertaken by the nautical team, is strongly proposing itself as a single supplier internationally for the entire painting cycle and for a wide range of services to support partners and customers. In addition to offering a wide range of top-quality products for boat repair and maintenance, the know-how of those who have a long history of leading the way in paint product manufacturing and the expertise chosen by the most prestigious shipyards to protect and add beauty to the world’s most prestigious yachts and superyachts will be shared with the boat show audience.
Instead, Veneziani Yachting, a brand that has been researching new technologies to satisfy sailing enthusiasts and boaters for more than 150 years, will present its new Wood Line, consisting of four different categories: paints, impregnants, resins and teak care products. A highly qualitative range that as a whole consists of 19 products: 14 solvent-based and 5 water-based. Also shared will be the extensive and articulated Veneziani Program, the program created to support retailers’ business through multiple tools such as tutorials, the new website and the innovative e-shop, the first branded marketplace in Italy in the yachting sector, which has been further improved with the aim of ensuring a high-level user experience and fostering the relationship with retailers and customers.
With its participation in the Mediterranean’s largest event dedicated to boating, Boero Group once again demonstrates its ability to look to the future, proposing increasingly innovative paint solutions and technologies in order to reduce the effects of its activities on the environment, the community and people.
Beyond the Boat Show:
– On Saturday, 24, the traditional Millevele, the Genoa sailing race organized by the Yacht Club Italiano, of which Boero Group is a technical sponsor with the Veneziani Yachting brand, will be held in Genoa. An unmissable event for sportsmen and fans that the Group has decided to support in order to promote the city’s image and emphasize its strong ties with the territory.
