Where to moor in Tuscany this summer? Tuscany’s marinas are second to none in terms of receptivity and quality of services.
Mooring in Tuscany – Marinas of Tuscany
This show of strength is evident when you look at the numbers offered by the Consortium of Marinas of Tuscany, which brings together 11 of the best port realities (two under construction): 4,000 berths that can accommodate from a “barge” to a 100-meter megayacht.

Mooring in Tuscany – Discounts with Fidelity Card
The Consortium for the summer has launched many new features. The first is definitely the Fidelity Card, which will entitle the holder to receive an online card that generates a 10 percent discount on the mooring fee in transit at ports that join the network and a “welcome kit” with km.0 food and wine products.
On the topic of port accessibility and barrier-free boating, the Consortium hired Marco Rossato, a solo sailor and president of “I Timonieri Sbandati ASD,” a sailing and sailing school dedicated to the world of disabilities. Over the course of the season, Rossato will stop at all of the network’s marinas to talk about a sailing and boating world open to all, the rights of people with disabilities by verifying the accessibility of marinas with solutions to foster a barrier-free harbor.
In September, the Consortium of Tuscan Marinas will be present at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6 to 11 and at the Genoa Boat Show scheduled for September 22 to 27 to present the best of Tuscany’s yachting offerings.
Mooring in Tuscany – Good News from the Marinas
The improvement of the Consortium’s Marines is constant. As in Viareggio 2020 where work is underway to improve infrastructure. The Tuscan Archipelago Marina in Piombino sees the first boats moored after the new breakwater is virtually finished. In Porto Azzurro, on Elba Island, they are expanding berths.
Good news also from Livorno: Porta a Mare with a project involving work to transform the Porto Mediceo and Darsena Nuova into tourist landings that will be developed between the former Orlando Shipyard area and the southern area of the Porto Mediceo. But all other marinas are constantly evolving to offer new services with the goal of combining the experience at sea with the land behind.
And Tuscany is unrivaled in this regard.
