The new 100-foot (30.5 m) Southern Wind Morgana has arrived in the Mediterranean. The yacht, described by the shipyard as a “smart-custom,” was designed by Reichel Pugh for naval architecture and by Italian studio Nauta Design for the interior and overall concept. The owner is an avid sailor who wanted a boat that could sail around the world but at the same time be able to race at the top in superyacht races.
How a superyacht is born
In this beautiful “docufilm” the genesis of the project is told through the words of the close-knit team that contributed to its realization.
From project philosophy with Southern Wind sales manager Andrea Micheli to design, with Mario Pedol of Nauta Design and Jim Pugh and Tony Beale of Reichel Pugh Studio. Moving on to construction on site with SWS general manager Marco Alberti, exteriors with technical manager Yann Dabbadie, and interiors with Niki Jennings (SWS Technical Coordinator) and project manager Carlo Torre.
Instead, below you will glaze your eyes as you board the superyacht Morgana.
