The new Southern Wind 100-foot (30.5 m) sailing yacht Morgana has arrived in the Mediterranean. With naval architecture by Reichel Pugh and exterior and interior design by Nauta Design, this “smart-custom” yacht was commissioned by an owner that wanted a fast bluewater cruiser that could also compete in superyacht regattas.
The following video illustrates the genesis of the project through the worlds of the close-knit team that worked on it.
From project philosophy with Southern Wind Sales Manager Andrea Micheli to design, with Mario Pedol (Nauta Design), Jim Pugh and Tony Beale (Reichel Pugh), passing through in-home contruction with SWS General Manager Marco Alberto, exterior design with Technical Manager Yann Dabbadie, exterior design with SWS Technical Coordinator Niki Jennings and Project Manager Carlo Torre.
The following, instead, is a special photo gallery of the Morgana superyacht. Enjoy it!
